Ten-25 Header - let your business work for you

implementation

The implementation of a new computer system is a major project, with far-reaching effects on all aspects of a business operation. It is therefore of the utmost importance to plan, control and monitor the project at all levels to ensure the maximum benefit in the shortest possible time scale.

The staff at Ten~25 have a wealth of experience through years of implementations in a wide variety of businesses. We will help with every step of the project - planning, suggesting procedures, and providing documentation.

The broad phases of a typical implementation are:

Project Management

It is normal to establish a committee of those staff most closely involved with the implementation: the Salesman and Project Manager, and representatives of other suppliers involved in the project. The chairman of the committee will normally be a senior manager or director of your company.

The committee should meet on the user's site as often as is necessary - normally monthly between order and implementation, and on demand thereafter. The Project Manager will be a Ten~25 Support Analyst who will guide the implementation process.

Installation

The server is built and configured here at our offices. The installation of the hardware (server, printers, terminals, etc.) will be performed by a Ten~25 technician, and tested both at our offices and on-site.

Implementation

Your Project Manager will guide the implementation process, and help establish the main phases of implementation, with the sequence and target dates. For example, a workable sequence might be to start with Invoicing, then Sales and Purchase Ordering, and finally stock control.

Going Live

The final phase of implementation is 'going live'. Ten~25 Support Staff will normally be in attendance to assist with issues as they arise, and to verify correct operation of the system.
