The standard utilities and communication functions are contained within the Base Module. Here are a few of the standard features:

Utilities

User login determines seniority, ability and depot – A user’s seniority affects what they can see on the system, where the ability set what they can do. This is carried from the job level right down to the individual field.
Copy and Paste functions from fields – Field data can be copied to other applications and vice-versa.
Live e-mail addresses and Web links – entering an e-mail address or web address in a field makes it a live link.
Wordbase notes history – Keep notes on customers, suppliers, orders and products. Notes can be files against topics and contain warning dates.
Priority Wordbase with Keynote warnings – Identifying Priority Notes will ensure they popup every time a user accesses that customer, supplier, product or order.
Extract data into Excel, Word or any ODBC compliant software – All the information in the STRIP5 system can be extracted into any ODBC compliant software.
On-line system help – Help files are available across the system to guide users to how to use the system. There is context sensitive help which will tell the user what options are available at any point in the system.

Communication

Print multiple documents per job – Any job can produce multiple document types.
Print on multiple printers per job – Any job can produce multiple copies of a document on different printers. The STRIP5 system can even split a picking note into the products to be picked in each department and send those order lines to each department.
E-mail outgoing documents – Documents can either be automatically e-mailed, or saved to file so they can be attached to an e-mail and the User write a personalised cover note.
