Products can be arranged into locations. The system will print off stock take sheets by location. The user is notified if a product is held in more than one location
PAPER OF DIGITAL COUNT
Count on any browser enabled devices like tablets or smartphones. Alternatively print out stock count sheets and enter the count back in the office.
Have Merchanter suggest a few products to count each day to maintain a perpetual inventory and not have to do a big annual stock take, with features like Stock Turn and Stock Confidence to further validate decision-making.

Mill and return lines can be added to sales and mill orders (mill orders are production for stock). These lines show what raw materials should be used and what useable items can be returned to stock. When the milling is done the quantities can be amended, or products exchanged, updating the cost of the finished goods and keeping stock accurate
REPORT ON MILL USAGE AND COST
Reporting on mill usage gives an idea of whether the machines are being used to optimum capacity and if new machines would be worth the investment. The notional costs from the mill can be compared to the actual overheads to analyse if an accurate working rate is being used, improve margins on future milling jobs
